Four days — The fast route
- Day 1 — Albany Via Mandurah, Bunbury’s Dolphin Discovery Centre, the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk and Greens Pool at Denmark.
- Day 2 — Esperance Via Mt Clarence lookout, The Gap and Natural Bridge at Frenchman’s Bay and the Stirling Range.
- Day 3 — Cape Le Grand National Park Via Lucky Bay, Pink Lake, Twilight Cove and Great Ocean Drive back into Esperance.
- Day 4 — Return to Perth Via Wave Rock at Hyden, Hippo’s Yawn and the Wheatbelt townships on the long drive home.

Wave Rock (Hyden)
Over 4 hours from the actual coastline, a big swell of another kind gained attention in the vast outback plains. Carved over 2.7 billion years from wind and rain, many come from far and wide to ‘surf’ this famous 15-metre-high technicolour granite cliff.
While this epic feat of nature dazzles year-round, purple dampiera, orange grevilleas, yellow cassia and other vibrant blooms welcome spring in the most spectacular way.
Norseman
In the midst of the scrub-speckled desert, you’ll find ancient rocky outcrops, swirling violet salt lakes and the biggest temperate woodland just two hours away from Esperance.

Recherche Archipelago
