When Will I Receive My Bond/Hold?

The pre-authorisation will last between 7-31 business days. This period varies from bank to bank. The pre-authorisation is automatically released back to your bank within 3 days after you return the vehicle and we’ve finalised your reservation.


Do i still need to pay the liability amount even though I may not be at fault?

Yes, you are still liable for any damages until the third party has accepted liability and we have received payment from them.


How do i receive a receipt for my rental?

Please email us at info@bargaincarrentals.com.au for a receipt and include any additional information that may help us with this request.


I think i left an item in my rental car. How do i get it back?

We take care to search all vehicles when completing our thorough cleaning process. If we find any items of value we will retain them in the drop-off location and attempt to contact you to arrange item collection. You can return to the depot to collect the item, nominate someone to collect on your behalf or refer to a courier service of your choice.
